Updates from the CCCBR
Central Council of Church Bell Ringers

What has the Central Council ever done for me?

If you think that the Central Council is not relevant to you, check out some of the VERY useful information which came out of this year's meeting in Exeter on 7 September which was attended by all 3 of your representatives, Pat Albon, Linda Garton and Richard Horne.
https://cccbr.org.uk/2024/09/08/the-central-council-agm-in-urls/

A huge amount  of work goes on behind the scenes throughout the year to support ALL towers and ringers ... the answer to the question above really is "A LOT"!

New information includes:

Bellringing branding:

Stewardship and Management online publications:

New websites:

Recordings of the AGM (bring popcorn) and of the Ringing 2030 presention are on the Central Council YouTube channel:

Finally, on the Devon2024 page on the Central Council website, you can find links to slide decks for the Workgroup Presentations, the AGM presentation, and the Changing Churches project deep dive

If you look at one thing – check out the excellent Sunday presentation: Ringing 2030 - Changes in churches What are we going to do?

Do keep an eye on the Central Council website for wider ringing news, resources and helpful information!   https://cccbr.org.uk

BOOKING FOR EVENTS

We often ask you to commit to events in advance via GoogleForms or Doodlepolls so that we know that they are viable and to assist planning. If you have registered, we can then also easily communicate any changes or additional information to you.
We do realise that these are not everyone's cup of tea! However, using them to register for events makes admin for the organisers SO much easier ... saving us time and effort which we can then put into organising more and better events!! It also enables us to find out other information from you to assist with organisation.
GoogleForms or Doodlepolls do not cost us, or you, anything and are quick and easy to use.
We will only ever use your data for the purpose which it was given and will never pass on to third parties.
