Welcome to the website of the

Bedfordshire Association of Church Bell Ringers

Promoting and supporting bell ringing in Bedfordshire

Our Association covers  the geographical county of Bedfordshire and the parish of Eaton Socon in Cambridgeshire. There are 83 churches with ringable bells in Bedfordshire and we have about 300 members.

Our patron is currently The Bishop of Bedford, the Right Reverend Richard Atkinson. (We’ll invite the Bishop of St Albans elect to become a patron once installed later in the year.)

The Association is a registered Charity, number 263781, see  https://apps.BACBR Charity No. 263781 for more details.

Ring to welcome the new Bishop of St Albans, The Right Reverend Dr. Andrew Rumsey who will be formally installed as our Diocesan Bishop in a service at St Albans Cathedral on 19 September. It would be great if as many Bedfordshire towers as possible could ring to welcome him either on that date, or a special touch on Sunday 20 September. Please add all ringing to BellBoard and link it to the event: https://bb.ringingworld.co.uk/event.php?id=23643 so that we can send details to Bishop Andrew.
