Our Association covers  the geographical county of Bedfordshire and the parish of Eaton Socon in Cambridgeshire. There are 83 churches with ringable bells in Bedfordshire and we have about 350 members.

Our patrons are The Lord Bishop of St. Albans, the Right Reverend Dr. Alan Smith – retiring at the end of May 2025, and The Bishop of Bedford, the Right Reverend Richard Atkinson.

Campton (8) Bedfordshire Young Ringers Practice - is for all young ringers aged 18 or under, what ever your ringing experience. (Experienced tutors will be there to help!) Come along to ring with ringers your own age, eat cake and have fun! If you would like to come along for the first time please email youngringers@bacbr.org.uk 2:30 – 4:30pm
Biggleswade (10) Second Saturday Training at the RJ Sharp Ringing Centre, St Andrews, Biggleswade. These sessions are aimed at less experienced Bedfordshire ringers who would like to improve basic skills and confidence. Session 1 - 10.00-11.00 bell handling. 11.00 - 11.15 coffee and cake. Session 2 - 11.15-12.30 foundation skills - rounds, call changes, Plain Hunt. Tempsford (6) Focus practice on Plain Doubles and Plain Minor. We will ring any plain doubles or minor methods. For those who would like to practice: ringing the treble to doubles or minor. ringing plain bob doubles or minor inside. other doubles such as St Simons or St Martins or minor methods such as Single or Double Oxford. For less commonly rung methods please let the Ringing Master know in advance. Opportunities to call touches. This is for those who are already confident with Surprise Major (and above!); those who are learning these methods; and those who can competently ring well struck Treble Bob on 6 or Surprise Minor, Plain Bob Major / Grandsire Triples and wanting to make a start with Surprise Major. Silsoe (6) Focus on Surprise Minor. This is for: those who can already ring Surprise Minor and want to consolidate/ learn more methods; - those who can already Treble Bob; and those who can ring Plain Bob Minor and want to progress onto ringing Treble Bob.
