We’ve heard the sad news of the death of Rev J Michael Stephens on Thursday 9th April, he was 96.
Michael learnt to ring at Kempston after WW2 and was later tower captain there. He was twice Association Secretary and Treasurer (joint roles then) from 1952 to 1955 and 1959 to 1962.
